I am a PhD BA (strategic management) student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology in Kenya. I have worked for 8 years in the private Agriculture sector and also taught for 2 years at a private university.
During the last 3 years I have been carrying out studies on the food processing industry in Kenya with special interest on its potential to bring about industrialization as well as upgrade the living standard of the communities living in areas with agricultural potential.
I am currently finalizing on my findings and hope to realize positive results from them. This conference therefore offers the opportunity to discuss these ideas for the betterment of the rural communities in Kenya.
