I was born, raised and schooled in Kumasi the so-called Garden City of Ghana where diverse tropical species grow in different forest types. I pursued my Bsc and Mphil in Lignocellulosic (Wood) Science and Technology at KNUST (Kumasi), and PhD in NanoLignocellulosics at UoE (England). I have a passion for the chemistry, biology, physics and engineering of Lignocellulosics at all length scales. Natural Materials, Polymers, Forest/Env Science and Engineering are my other passions which frequently finds me juggling between fields. My personal philosophies are: 'the closer one can look, the better impressions one can get' 'in truth light and purpose are found'. My current focus is on Auxetics of NanoLignocellulosics and other Nanomaterials for innovations various industries.
