I work in ICIMOD. I am responsible for managing ICIMOD's Information Resource Centre and HIMALDOC (a central repository of ICIMOD publications and multimedia), an online library and platform customised to connect the libraries and information centres of the Himalayan University Consortium (HUC). I have Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. I was awarded the TULLSSA Gold Medal in 2002 for gaining first position in the Bachelor’s of Library and Information Science. I am an information service provider. I love to collect, organize, repackage and disseminate information to the users. I have good knowledge on different library management software and tools, specially Invenio, Koha and other information management tools and databases. I am also involved in different library associations and consortium. I have participated in several national and international conferences, workshops, training. I have visited, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, India.
