Crops for the Future (CFF) is an international partnership organisation working on a global level with a mission to promote and research the use of neglected and under-utilised crops in developing countries, in order to diversify agricultural and food systems, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the livelihoods of poor people, in particular agricultural producers. CFF is achieving its mission through research in strategic areas, information management, capacity and awareness building as well as advocacy towards policies that do not discriminate against the use of under-utilised species. CFF is a member of the GFAR-convened DOCNet initiative (Development Opportunity Crops Initiative), of the newly established Association of International Research Centres for Agriculture.
