I work with the National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) of Papua New Guinea (PNG) as a Research & Development Coordinator for Southern Regional Centre (NARI SRC). In terms of professional qualification and experience, I have been working with NARI since 2001, as agriculture economist, now at senior level. I have beein contributing to NARI's research planning also. I have a masters degree in Natural Resource Economics with concentration on agriculture economics, and a bachelor's degree in economics.

My area of interest in Agriculture research is to do with improving and strengthening the national agricultural research systems of PNG to help to advance the AR4D research capability and strength for PNG and the Pacific Island Countries which share similarities in crop types, culture and geograhpic features and proximities. Being newly appointed as the R&D Coordinator for NARI SRC I have the honour and the challenge to chart AR4D map for SRC in line with overall NARI and PNG goals.
