The main goal of this four (4) years project with a funding of ¿ 4,000,000 is to strengthen the involvement of the southern stakeholders (NARS, including the civil society organisations, and their Regional and sub-regional Fora) in a global agenda dealing with agricultural research for sustainable development (ARSD). To achieve this goal the project will follow the GFAR principles of (a) bottom approach led by a multistakeholder dialogue, (b) subsidiarity and, (c) decentralisation. The specific themes supported by this project will be fully consistent with the GFAR Business Plan, endorsed during the previous GFAR Steering Committee Meetings
