This one-day workshop, being held during the Asia-Pacific Forestry Week, is for communication officers, project officers and anyone working on forest communication in the Asia-Pacific region. At the workshop, you will:
- Learn about ‘participatory development communication’ approaches and case studies
- Enhance your skills on working more effectively with print/TV/online journalists
- Network and share experiences with other forest communicators
- Learn about the Asia-Pacific Forest Communication Network and how to join

Cost and how to participate
There are no registration fees and participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. If you or any of your staff is interested in participating, please email Caroline Liou at caroline.liou@recoftc.org. In your email, please include: your name, title, organization, and brief information on your communication activities. RECOFTC and FAO may provide funding for a limited number of participants to cover travel costs as needed - if you require support for travel costs please indicate in your email.
