Are you interested in leading your activity team to design stronger nutrition sensitive agriculture activities?
The Designing Effective Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture Activities Workshop is a three-day program that guides teams to design, implement, monitor, and manage agriculture-led economic growth activities that lead to better nutrition outcomes. The Design Guide is peer-led and for the workshop to be successful, skilled facilitators are needed to guide teams in thinking through the design of nutrition-sensitive agriculture activities. To successfully lead the workshop, facilitators should have an understanding of nutrition-sensitive agriculture, program design, and skills in workshop facilitation.
USAID’s Bureau for Resilience and Food Security and USAID Advancing Nutrition are hosting a three-day Training of Trainers to support teams who are preparing to facilitate the Design Guide workshop. The training will provide an orientation to the Design Guide materials, an overview of best practices in peer-led facilitation, and the opportunity to facilitate critical sessions in the workshop. The training will be held in-person in Arlington, VA from May 25-27, 2022. There are no fees to attend but participants will be expected to cover their own lodging and travel costs. This training is designed for implementers who will be directly facilitating the NSA Design Guide workshop in the next year. Applications are open until Friday, April 15, 2022.
This training is just one way that USAID Advancing Nutrition is supporting uptake and use of the Design Guide materials. For information on other ways to engage, please visit our Design Guide Community of Practice to learn more and join.
