PROLINNOVA (PROmoting Local INNOVAtion in ecologically-oriented agriculture and natural
resource management) is an international initiative spearheaded by non-governmental
organisations (NGOs) seeking to 1) strengthen agricultural research and development (ARD)
partnerships and methods to promote local innovation processes in agriculture and NRM; and
2) integrate Participatory Innovation Development (PID) approaches that build on local
innovation into institutions of agricultural research, extension and education.
