Dilip Bhandari is currently working as a Director of Programs at Heifer International, headquarters, Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. He joined Heifer International headquarters as Program Officer for Animal Well-Being in 2006 and later took responsibility at International Program department in 2009. Mr. Bhandari has worked as a livestock and community development professional for 15 years in diverse assignments in mainstreaming livestock production management and community development programs in over 15 countries spanning Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and central America. His most recent position as Program Manager, he is responsible for Heifer’s country programs in Asia with portfolio of more than US$ 20M. In addition, he is leading Heifer’s Global Animal Production and Health Project which focuses on increasing production and productivity of livestock supported by Heifer International to smallholders in more than 30 countries around the globe.
