Andreas Drakos received a B.Sc. degree in telecommunications (2006) and a Ph.D. in the field of optical networks (2010) both from the Department of Telecommunications Science and Technology of the University of Peloponnese. During his graduate studies, he worked as an intern in the Network Operating Center of the University of Peloponnese and started participating in his first research projects. From 2007 to 2012, Andreas was a member of Optical Networking Group of the University of Peloponnese where he worked as a research associate participating in the implementation of a number of research projects, EU and Greek national funded, on the field of optical networks. In 2013, Andreas joined Agro-Know as a Project Manager with his main responsibilities being the planning and the successful implementation of projects (mainly EU funded research projects) and the preparation of new proposals. During this period, Andreas also offered consulting services to the Greek Research & Technology Network and the University of Alcalá.
