Areas of expertise: Development, management and implementation of international research projects in various aspects of Integrated Crop Management. Biological control of soilborne and aerial plant pathogens, in tropical and temperate systems using fungal biocontrol agents. Use of induced resistance, entompathogenic fungi and entomopathogenic nematodes. Implementation of laboratory and field studies in temperate and tropical regions, in particular relating to cacao. Field trials, surveys and project implementation in more than 10 countries including Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, DPR Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Development of training materials, knowledge transfer and information provision to researchers, extensionists and farmers. Training and teaching of researchers and undergraduate students.
