Belongs to Rural India. I did BSc Hons.(Ag)(1998) and MSc Agronomy(2000) from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, India. More than 62% area of Rajasthan is rainfed and desert is the beauty of the state. After completing graduation from water scarce, small town of Rajasthan(Jobner) i moved to capital city of India, New Delhi for pursuing PhD. I did PhD Agronomy(2005) from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, a Metropolitan city. It was a big momentum for a student came from remote village. After completing PhD i joined as Assistant Professor in 'Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Here i taught courses on Agronomy to the students of Under graduation and post graduation beside research. I learned new experiences in Kashmir, disturbed area. Later, i was fortunate to got the opportunity to visit China(2009-11). While pursuing Post Doctorate Research Fellow in Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China, i got exposure with the students, teachers, researchers from all over the world. It was the dream period for me. After returning back to India i joined back my parental university, SKUAST-K and started my duties as teacher and researcher with full of energy and experiences learned in China. Thereafter, i got the opportunity to be the part of the worlds largest research organisation in the field of agriculture, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. Presently iam posted at Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. And working hard for the cause of agriculture through Pulse Agronomy.
