I have a background in Audiovisual Communications and Hispanic Philology, from the University of Navarra, Spain. In 2010, I contributed to a Project on Mass media and NGO crisis as a researcher. We analysed the treatment of NGO crisis by the Media from the 90’s to 2010. I also studied Political Sciences for five months in Santiago, Chile.
In the past years, I was a trainee at the Press unit of the European Parliament in Brussels, worked as a journalist for the TV news agency “Rome Reports”, and as a translator and radio speaker in the Vatican’s official newspaper L’Osservatore Romano. I am thus familiar with the editing and production of a variety of multimedia content and products. Currently, I work as Web & Communications Officer at YPARD - The Young Professionals for Agricultural Development.
After having tried different areas within the communication field, I have realized that most of the times what matters is not ‘what you want to do’ but ‘what the goal of your work is´ and therefore I am glad to have found a place like GFAR in which I can feel excited for the tasks I carry out and committed to its values.”
As a new member of GFAR`s crew, I am very glad to be part of it and work in such a busy and highly motivating environment, where I will contribute with my daily work to promote agricultural and rural sustainable development.
