I am a journalist with more than 15 years experience covering agricultural issues. I have been editor of Horticultural Digest and Associate Editor of Agricultural Review (www.agriculturalreviewonline.com), a publication that covers general agricultural issues in Eastern and Southern Africa.

I have participated in many seminars and workshops, locally and abroad. A few years ago, I was invited to present a paper on the role of media in agricultural research at a conference on orphan crops breeding held in Switzerland. Many of researchers at the conference commended me for the paper and felt I had introduced a whole new dimension to agricultural research. I would like to attend GCARD 2012 to deepen my knowledge of these issues to effectively represent my constituency (media).
