Spent initial career in the crude oil industry. 1986 became an olive grower ‎cultivating his first olive trees in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. Independent freelance olive researcher. Research work on orchard management to achieve high ‎quality olive products and higher yields. After three years of field simulation studies, he introduced ‎olive cultivation in Zimbabwe for the first time back in 2000 when he helped planting commercial olive ‎orchards in the Wedza Region.
