Spent initial career in the crude oil industry. 1986 became an olive grower cultivating his first olive trees in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. Independent freelance olive researcher. Research work on orchard management to achieve high quality olive products and higher yields. After three years of field simulation studies, he introduced olive cultivation in Zimbabwe for the first time back in 2000 when he helped planting commercial olive orchards in the Wedza Region.
