The Institute of Research, Extension and Training in Agriculture embodies the University of the South Pacific’s mandate to address the needs and challenges facing agriculture development in the Pacific.     IRETA was established in 1980 as an Institute of the University of the South Pacific (USP).     IRETA’s vision is to provide quality living for the rural communities through agricultural development.     It’s mission statement is to contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the Pacific Island Countries by responding appropriately to their needs for research, extension and training in agriculture.

CEDIA: Es un sistema que se encarga de la construcción, organización, mantenimiento y actualización de documentos que se disponen y puedan ser consultados por los distintos usuarios de acuerdo a las necesidades; el cual reúne y conserva impresos de carácter bibliográfico apoyado por sistemas de almacenamiento, búsqueda y distribución de información digitalizada para el beneficio de honduras.  

ICALTD, the Indonesian Center for Agricultural Library and Technology Dissemination, is one of structural bodies under the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development, Ministry of Agriculture. ICALTD consists of two major divisions, i.e the library and technology dissemination. The library, established in 1842, is the oldest agriculture library in Indonesia. The establishment was proposed by J.K. Hasskarl, Assistant Hortulanus's Land Plantentuin, and M. Diard, a member of Natuurkundige Commisie, started with 25 title books donated by Jacques Pierot. In its early establishment, the library was part of the Bogor Botanical Garden with the mission of supporting Dutch Botanists' access to scientific literatures. In 1850, it became formally a library with a name Bibliotheek's Land Plantentuin te Buitenzorg. It is then undergone several changes of name and function, and by March 2000, it was formally declared by a Ministerial Decree as the Center of Agricultural Library and Technology Dissemination (Pusat Perpustakaan dan Penyebaran Teknologi Pertanian).  

Spanish Journal of Rural Development (SJRD) es una revista de reciente creación, publicada por la Asociación Gallega de Investigadores para el Desarrollo Rural (AGAIDERU), que intenta ser un forum de discusión que contribuya a la mejora del conocimiento del mundo rural, centrado en su desarrollo sostenible. Es una revista multidisciplinar en la que tienen cabida trabajos centrados en temas forestales, agronómicos, medioambientales, de planeamiento rural, de cooperación internacional, socioeconómicos,., pero siempre enfocados en su aplicación para lograr un Desarrollo Rural Sostenible de las poblaciones locales.  

Comunicata Scientiae é um periódico publicado em volumes anuais de quatro números (março, junho, setembro e dezembro), editado pelo Campus “Profa. Cinobelina Elvas” da Universidade Federal do Piauí com o objetivo de publicar artigos, notas científicas e revisões de literatura (a convite da comissão editorial) que apresentem significativa importância para as Ciências Agrárias e Ambientais em português, espanhol ou, preferencialmente, em inglês.
