Dear subscribers, partners and colleagues,
As you may be aware, FAO is organizing an International Symposium on Agricultural Innovation for Family Farmers at FAO HQ in Rome, November 21-23 2018. The theme is of course highly relevant to GFAR’s work in promoting farmer-centred agri-food research and innovation.
FAO has asked GFAR to reach out through the extensive GFAR network of Partners in agricultural research and innovation for development, to help raise awareness of the Symposium across all GFAR constituencies and in particular to encourage the active participation of non-state actors, e.g. farmers, civil society organizations, youth and women’s organizations and the private sector.
We are pleased to do so and encourage you to find out more about this important meeting using the links in the FAO communication below.
