In the middle of 2000, Kofi founded Elizka Relief Foundation, a capacity building and human empowerment organization for which he continues to serve as CEO and leads its partnership or membership with the Partnership For Maternal and Newborn Child – World Trade Organization, Getfoundation, EuroAfrica-ICT Cooperation, UN Global Compact, United Nations Department For Economic and Social Affairs (Division for Sustainable Development).In 2010, Kofi was appointed as the national project coordinator for Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences’ (JIRCAS) project on “The Study of Development of Improved Infrastructure and Technologies for Rice Production in Africa” – www.jircas.jp.go. Currently, Kofi serves as the co-chair for The Global Summit 2012, chair for the African Local Summit - www.africanlocalsummit.org. Kofi was recently awarded as an Ambassador of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by the Millennium Development Ambassadors – www.mdgambassadors.org
