T.G.Apata is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension Services, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji, Arakeji. He completed his PhD degree in Agricultural Economics in year 2006 with a thesis dissertation written in the field of resource and welfare economics. The thesis is titled “Income and Livelihood Diversification Strategies among Farming Households in Crude Oil-polluted areas of Ondo State, Nigeria.”He was once a research Supervisor on the study of the Impact of Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF) on the economy covering South-South zone (Rivers and Cross Rivers) of Nigeria. He has participated in several multidisciplinary research works with both international and local research organizations/institutions including International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, Department for International Development, US Agency for International Development.
