Currently she is Head of Foresight Area (Agriculture Research) in the National Institute for the Agriculture and Food Research (INIA) (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness). She has been scientific adviser and is involved in coordination tasks at the Directorate She General of INIA. Until 1993 Dr. Delgado worked as a senior scientific researcher at the Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Area in the INIA, being a project leader in several research projects, she was a research activities evaluator, having a number of scientific publications. She was the Spanish representative in the Committee of Programmes Environment and Climate of the several Frame Programme of R&D. She has a broad range of experience in the Spanish Administration having had different posts in the Ministry of Education and Science.
