•Committed to promoting the re-connection of society and the environment through economically viable, sustainable agriculture and food system planning at the local and regional scales. I have a double Master's of Science in Agroecology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and ISARA-Lyon in France. For the past 15 years I have been traveling to the Eastern Himalaya, living and working with agricultural communities in Nepal, Sikkim, and Bhutan. I am very interested in agroforestry as a multi-functional approach to mitigating many of the socio-ecological impacts found in mountain agriculture systems.
