Thomas Price joined the GFAR Secretariat in March 2012 from FAO where he led civil society and private sector relations overall and the strategy for engagement with these partners. He came to FAO after two decades resident experience working with rural communities in West and Central Africa to promote and consolidate their access to, ownership and control of local resources. Building from the local level, he contributed to informing and influencing national policies, law and legislation to match the priorities and capacities of farmers, fishers, herders and other groups.

Senior Development Economist (Freelance), carrying out action oriented research on sustainable business development across several sectors (e.g. cocoa, cotton, coffee, horticulture, and dairy) and on food security. The organisations for which I have worked include: Wageningne UR Centre for Development Innovation, OECD Development Centre, Oxfam Novib, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNCTAD, etc.

Yue Feng, Male, Ph.D., was born in January 1982, Research Assistant, Phone: +86 571 6337-0540, Email: fy_555500@163.com, Education and work experience: Dr. Feng graduated from Shenyang Agricultural University and received his bachelor, master and doctor degree in 2004, 2007 and 2010, respectively. Dr.Feng has been engaged in research of rice genetics and breeding since 2010 at China National Rice Research Institute.
