Dr. Dimah Habash has 17 years research experience in physiological and genetic factors defining multigenic complex traits such as nitrogen and water use in wheat. Areas of expertise focus on nitrogen metabolism, senescence and remobilisation of assimilate in response to environmental stress. Studies integrate physiological, genetic, genomic and biochemical approaches.

Ann having an inter-disciplinary training background cutting across biological sciences, environmental science and development policy has requisite capacity and skills to provide stewardship in policies and practice towards translation of agricultural science into use. She is able to analyze and synthesize different agricultural research reports and publications for policy recommendations. Ann has ample experience in networking and advocacy in a multicultural setting involving diverse development and policy actors in the public and private sector.

The International Centre for development oriented Research in Agriculture (ICRA) strengthens innovative capacity by providing training and coaching to professionals and to inter-organisational and multidisciplinary teams of staff from education, research and
development organisations, in the following 4 focal areas:
Agricultural Research for Development, Agricultural Advisory Services and Innovation, Agribusiness coaching, and Higher Education outreach and action research.

Senior Research Fellow at International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). co-leader of research theme on global change and works on modeling global futures for food and agriculture paying attention to important linkages to energy, land, water and the environment.
