Maggie Munthali is a young soil scientist currently working for the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Management as an Assistant Regional Forestry Officer since 2010. She has vast experience in forest management, agroforestry and integrated soil fertility management (ISFM). Prior to this, she worked with the Ministry of Education and RAIPLY as Secondary School Teacher and Sawmill Production Supervisor respectively. She holds MSc in Sustainable Soil Resource Management obtained from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and BSc in Forestry from Mzuzu University, Malawi.

Degree in Librarianship and Information Science of the University of Costa Rica. Editor of two scientific journals: e-Information Science and Population and Health in Central America. -
