Project Scientist, Weed Biological Control. Diploma in Botany, Ph.D. in Natural Sciences. Areas of expertise: Management of research projects in weed biological control. Studies on host specificity of herbivorous insects on Hondstongue and Old man''s beard. Field work in European and overseas countries (Romania, Ukraine, Spain).
1995 - present: Started PROGIS as company focusing within the sector ICT for agriculture, forestry, environment and natural risk-management and working worldwide. Around 25 applications within all these sectors are based on our core product WinGIS incl. its AX-based development environment. 1985 -present: As a civilengineer and expert at the Austrian courts I work within the sector agriculture - forestry - environment - natural riskmanagement with expertise in many countries worldwide.
I'm presently working for the Swiss College of Agriculture as an Assistant. This job allows me to take part in different research activities.
