Dr. C.Ravindran, an Horticulturist, has multi faceted research experience of over seven years in the field of Fruit science, fruit plant multiplication, collection, conservation and evaluation of underutilized fruit crops and grape downy mildew management. His contribution to the FAO Hortivar data base, Global Horticulture Assessment, Global Consultations on Farmers’ Rights has been noteworthy. He is author/editor/co-editor of 4 books, 5 journals, 10 research articles and 25 popular articles.

SLU ( Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences ) is a university with comprehensive knowledge of the sustainable use of biological natural resources, as well as of the environmental and life sciences.   Activities span from genes and molecules to biodiversity, animal health, bioenergy and food supply.
