I work on the USAID-funded Fostering AgricultureCompetitiveness Employing Information Communication Technologies (FACET) project. Our objectives are two-fold: knowledge sharing across USAID missions and projects regarding sustainable and scalable approaches to using ICT to increase the success of agricultural development activities in sub-Saharan Africa; and providing short term technical assistance to these missions and projects to help them improve their uses of ICT to achieve agricultural development objectives.

I have graduated in distinction from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia, in Rural Development (BSc) in 2008. Then employed at Haramaya University with Grauate Assistant I and II from 2008 to 2010.
I have enrolled my postgrauate study ourse work in Agricultural Information & Communication Management (MSc) at Haramaya University. Currently finalizing my thesis on ICT and Information flow in Community Fishing Project Involving Small Holder Fishing Farmers. 
I am a Google Student Ambassador Alumni for  Haramaya University, Ethiopia.

Coordinator, Invasive species. PhD (Weed Biocontrol). Areas of expertise: Invasive species management, applied entomology, insect taxonomy, surveying and selecting biological control agents, and mass rearing of biocontrol agents and plant protection.
