Ann is an agricultural information specialist in Queensland, Australia having worked for almost 30- years in extension agronomy and agricultural communications, extension and learning, and information systems. She has consulted to agricultural organisations in communications strategies. She is a researcher at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba, Australia researching information use and on-farm decisions, information and digital literacies, rural and regional development.
Working within IDS Knowledge Services as manager of the Eldis project - sharing the best in development policy, practice and research [www.eldis.org]. We produce a range of online services via the website and offer free open access to bibliographic data via our API.
In addition I manage a small team of subject specialists developing research communication tools and services with IDS research colleagues and global partners. For example HANCI [www.hancindex.org].
Iam currently a supervisor research , statistics and policy analysis at the Uganda Revenue Authority and a member of the Research Sub committee of the East African Revenue Authorities Technical Committee (EARATC)
