The Caribbean Agricultural Reseach and Development Institute (CARDI) is a regional organisation established in 1975 with headquarters in Trinidad and Tobago and offices in 11 other Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member countries. CARDI's commodity programmes focus on small ruminants, sweet potato and other root crops, cereals and grain legumes, hot peppers, fruits and vegetables.
