SLU ( Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences ) is a university with comprehensive knowledge of the sustainable use of biological natural resources, as well as of the environmental and life sciences.   Activities span from genes and molecules to biodiversity, animal health, bioenergy and food supply. Urban and regional planning, sustainable urban and rural development and global issues such as climate change are also on the agenda. From  such an array of specilisations my specific focus is on Rural Development and Natural Resource Management where l am currently involved in Land ( use- changes, rights, tenure,  ) studies, as well as biofuels and large scale land investments in the Global South, with a specific intrest in Zimbabwe.
