I am a decision support, geospatial, and outreach specialist. He currently coordinates the research program of the John A. Hannah Chair in Land Policy. He previously served as the Associate Director for Decision Support at the MSU Land Policy Institute. I have developed informatics infrastructure for research and information at several levels from local government to enterprise research data systems.
In my work at Michigan State University, he has performed energy efficiency and renewable energy analysis, resource assessment, cluster analysis, ecological assessments, and education for the U.S. Department of Energy, the Michigan Public Service Commission, the Michigan Wind Resource Zoning Board, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and for state decision makers. I haves published numerous reports and journal articles on energy issues and educated over 7,000 individuals including legislators, industry members, government officials, and the public on topics ranging from watershed management to renewable energy development.
