J. Shankaraswamy  received his Bachelor degree in Horticulture from the Acharya N.G.Ranga Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad  in 2005 and Master of science in Post Harvest Technology of Horticultural crops from Bidhan Chandra Krishi viswa vidyalaya, Mohanpur, West Bengal,  Doctor of Philosophy in Horticulture from Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujarat, working as Assistant Professor in Lovely professional University, Punjab. His major research interests include flowering manipulation in fruit crops, processing and value addition in horticultural crops, Nano-edible coatings, processing quality evaluation of guava, watermelon, emulsifiers, early induction of flowering in mango which is the subject of his present Research.
