Was appointed the Chief executive officer of the Kenya National federation of Agricultural Producers in 2004 to date. A member of the Coordinating Committee of the International Planning Committee of CSOs and NGOs operating under the FAO since 2003, and a member of the Coordinating Committee of the International More and Better aid to Agriculture Network, inaugurated in 2004. Engaged in many International Planning Sessions, Conferences and Seminars either as facilitator and/or a speaker. Conducted research in socio-economics, smallholder farmer empowerment and disaster management, institutional development and organizational strengthening, Agricultural Product Value Chains and published several books. Reviewer of the Annals of Tourism Research, Journal, an accomplished researcher and consultant in International Development, International trade negotiations especially on Agreements of Agriculture, Climate Change, Governance Leadership and Management; a University Lecturer.
