My Specific Duties and Achievements
Partnered with other international institutions, including CIAT, ISAR, NUR, ISAE, and Send a Cow Rwanda, to implement the concept of Integrated Agricultural Research for Development through innovation platforms.
Participated in organizing and conducted workshops, trainings for farmers in the Lake Kivu Learning Site (Rwanda, Uganda and Republic Democratic of Congo)
Facilitated meetings of multiple stakeholders, set up demonstration plots at farmer field schools, linked farmers to potential markets, negotiated contracts between farmers and market representatives.
Developed an innovation to add value to Irish potatoes by washing and packing them.
