Agricultural professional with 20 years experience in management of research and innovation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Working as IICAs Representative in the Regional Fund for Agricultural Research (FONTAGRO) and Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Program for the Northern Region (PROCINORTE). Has worked at FAO, CIMMYT and ISNAR as researcher, research coordinator and project manager. Currently overseeing ex post evaluation of 76 FONTAGROs projects, and is also responsible for developing research and capacity building projects in agricultural health, genetic resources and tropical fruits under the PROCINORTE umbrella.
