I'm member of an NGO team working on Optimizing Use of non-conventional Water resources (recycled urban wastewater and rainwater) for Urban Agriculture as a solution to the challenge of growing water scarcity in Tunisia.
We are working on research project founded by IDRC-Canada (UPE Focus Cities Research Initiative). The main objective is to develop participatory models for the sustainable management of water resources in urban agriculture, foster the creation of small agricultural family enterprises, establish a greenhouse agricultural system, and integrate hearing-impaired youth in practical activities to enhance their community integration.
