In the week before this year’s G20 meeting, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and Turkish SDSN (hosted by Bogaziçi University) will convene the first SDSN20 – a meeting of international sustainability academics and experts to discuss: Implementing and localizing the SDGs in the G20 countries; How G20 processes can support the SDGs; International financing & role of the private sector; and The role of youth in achieving the SDGs
The meeting will include perspective from SDSN Regional and National Network leadership from the following networks: Amazon, Brazil, Germany, Mediterranean, Sahel, Spain, and Turkey.
The SDSN20 will conclude with the signing of a Declaration for Action. SDSN20 will gather annually to promote the SDGs within the G20 processes.
