Areas of expertise: Wide experience of invasive species management, with a particular focus on weed species and biological control. Currently managing a biological control programme for wild ginger (Hedychium spp.) complex for New Zealand and Hawaii and providing plant pathology expertise for projects on two UK weeds (Imaptiens glandulifera and Fallopia japonica). Experience includes practical work in quarantine, consultancies and overseas surveys in over 12 countries, insect rearing, plant pathology and project management.
