<p>Project manager, information systems expert and convener&nbsp;at the Secretariat of the Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR). Member of&nbsp;the Secretariat of the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition initiative (GODAN).</p>

<p>Responsible for engaging partners in actions and initiatives around the harnessing of the power of agri-food data for improving vallue chains and empowering smallholder farmers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As project manager,&nbsp;she's been responsible for work packages and tasks&nbsp;in international projects with a component on agri-food data, representing GFAR and FAO: the DFID-funded <a href="https://www.godan.info/godan-action&quot; target="_blank">GODAN Action</a> project, the <a href="https://www.big-data-europe.eu/&quot; target="_blank">Big Data Europe</a> H2020 project, the EC-funded <a href="http://aginfra.eu/&quot; target="_blank">agINFRA</a> project.</p>

<p>From the technical point of view, she's interested especially in the design and planning of information systems and tools based on "loosely-coupled" distributed architectures, agri-food data&nbsp;standards and semantic technologies. She has managed&nbsp;the <a href="https://ring.ciard.net&quot; target="_blank">CIARD RING</a> platform and the <a href="https://www.agriprofiles.net&quot; target="_blank">AgriProfiles</a> project and is now coordinating the work around a global <a href="https://vest.agrisemantics.org&quot; target="_blank">Map of agri-food data standards</a> within the GODAN Action project.</p>
