Each week, the GFAR Secretariat will turn the spotlight on a Partner in GFAR to share their work with the world-wide community committed to improving agri-food research and innovation systems. For the week of July 11-15, we are celebrating Access Agriculture and Agro-Insight, innovative enterprises working in the Global South to equip rural farmers and producers with knowledge and techniques that support sustainable agriculture. 

Agro-Insight is an enterprise that merges expertise from science, communications and graphic design to support sustainable agriculture and equitable trade. They work closely with clients to enhance the impact on rural communities, using effective video, and print material production. Agro-Insight also organises training in extension methods and organisation of advisory services. Take a look at what Agro-Insight has to offer on their website.

Agro-Insight is co-founder of the international NGO Access Agriculture, which facilitates the translation, distribution and use of quality farmer training videos in developing countries, in the local languages. 

Access Agriculture is a platform for agricultural R&D staff, service providers, extension agents, communication professionals and representatives of farmer organisations to see what training videos are available and request new language versions. Check out the videos and contribute to the translation and dissemination of the videos on the Access Agriculture website.
