CFS looked at country experience in using the Voluntary guidelines on the responsible governance of tenure of land, fisheries and forests in the context of national food security (VGGT) over the four years since they were endorsed in 2012, which highlighted some good practices on the importance of empowering all stakeholders to engage in securing tenure rights.

The goal of the African Leadership Institute (AFLI) is to nurture and enhance leadership capability across Africa, with particular focus on Africa’s most promising young leaders. AFLI’s aim is to create a network of high potential young Africans who have attended their programmes, and who are expected to rise to top leadership positions in their sphere of activity over the next 5-20 years.
