My communication skills has been generated when I started my work experience 6 years ago at ICARDA. The skills that I am getting are a variety of all kinds of writing, communicating, coordinating, and assisting my CODIS team at ICARDA; Communication, Documentation, and Information Services. My media and the e-communication admin. knowledge are considered to be as Base.

Coordinator of 16 EU Tempus projects in domain of water & environment, involving universities and other public organizations in PL, SK,CZ & HU. The projects assisted countries to accustom educational and envir. institutions with`aqui communatuarie` before entering EU.

I hold a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Food Science and a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Food Technology. I am currently undertaking a PhD degree program in Food Technology with specialization in product development. I am carrying out research on production of precooked meal from quality protein maize, soybean protein concentrate and cassava starch. I have particular interest in the utilization of locally available raw food materials and improving the nutrition of children and women.

Lance graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1974 with First Class Honours BA and MA degrees. He subsequently completed PhD (1987) and MBA (1991) degrees, also in University College Dublin. He joined Teagasc (The Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority) from the Irish Ministry of Finance in 1980, having previously worked as a researcher in the Irish Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI).

I recently took my new position of Head of the CGIAR Independent Evaluation Arrangements. I have more than 25 years of professional experience in international development in the food and agriculture sector, including extensive work related to evaluation. Over the years in FAO Evaluation Office, I managed strategic evaluations, all of which involved the complex assessment of public goods, such as international standard mechanisms, governance instruments, and normative products.
