Prof Rohan Rajapakse is the most senior Professor in Agriculture Biology in the University System in Sri Lanka. He is the former Executive Director of Sri Lanka Council of Agriculture Research the apex body of agriculture research in Sri Lanka. Subsequently he was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the University Grants Commission the apex boby of University system and at Present employed as the Senior Consultant to the Ministry of Higher education.
