holds a BSc Degree with honors in Agro-industries from California State University, an MSc degree in Dairy Technology from the University of Wyoming and a PhD in Food Technology & Nutrition from The Ohio State University, USA. He worked as a research scientist at the Ohio Research Center and later as Project Leader and Manager of the Biotechnology Department at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.
Currently working as Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council. Earlier experience include Senior Advisor on Programme Development at FAO Representation in Pakistan; research and development as Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council and Director General National Agricultural Research Centre, Islamabad Pakistan.
