The Association for AgriCulture & Ecology (Agrecol e.V.) in Germany offers internship placements and travel grants for students enrolled in universities and colleges in German- speaking countries.
For the coming year (2024), the Association can arrange one internship placement in ecologically oriented agriculture with its partner organisation Agrecol-Afrique in Thiès, Senegal. The internship offers students an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in sustainable agriculture and land management in a developing country.
In the first issue of GFAR Insights*, we shares our experience employing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), specifically ChatGPT, to establish the Global NARS Consortium (GNC). This initiative aims to empower National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) and reshape the landscape of global agricultural research.
Key Points:
The Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR) highlights the impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), particularly using ChatGPT, in revolutionizing global agricultural research. GFAR utilized GenAI to establish the Global NARS Consortium (GNC), empowering National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) for a more influential role in international research. This innovative approach not only supports small-scale producers and enhances precision agriculture but also contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
