Moonshots for Development (M4D), the alliance of innovation labs and venture arms of several multilateral development banks, launched the groundbreaking AI for Climate Resilience in Rural Areas Innovation Challenge, a joint effort to scout and scale AI-driven technologies that empower rural communities and help them adapt to climate change and build their resilience.
The “AI for Climate Resilience in Rural Areas Innovation Challenge” is open to innovators working on cutting-edge AI solutions aimed at creating a sustainable and resilient world.

Small-scale women, men, and young family farmers from 13 organizations in 9 countries, members and partners of the Asian Farmers Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA), have participated in the survey, focus group discussions, and experience sharing on digital agriculture. In this document they discuss the situation, challenges, and recommendations on digital agriculture.
The CoP on Participatory Research will play a key role in knowledge management and support for continuous learning on research processes specific to family farming, at all stages ensuring the active participation of all members. It is a flexible and open modality where responses to emerging needs are developed, offering the space to share good practices and create new knowledge through continuous interaction.
