Project Summary
The Casamance Youth Agricultural Project (CYAP) is a 10-month apprenticeship that provides 30 young adults living in the city of Ziguinchor with agribusiness and sustainability training. Participants receive basic business management and coaching towards starting and managing their own farms. Aspects of leadership development and community service are also integrated throughout the program year.
Project Context
Angoda Emmanuel has been teaching at Lira Town College since 2012. He is very resourceful in areas of User training, Web programming, System maintenance, Communication and resource mobilization. He has been involved in various ICT events and competitions. In 2014, his team won the Annual Communications Innovations Awards (ACIA). He has also been involved in the Science & Technology Innovations Challenge (Robotics) , Biotechnology Esssay writing contest and School Enterprise Challenge (SEC).
