The Forum for the Americas on Agricultural Research and Technology Development is a regional forum in which stakeholders from all sectors participate. Decisions are taken by its Executive Committee, formed by representatives of the following sectors: public, private, academic, NGOs, international research in the region, small farmers' organizations, young researchers, and women farmers. The Technical Secretariat is in charge of IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture), within the Innovation Program at Headquarters in Costa Rica.
